Lubbock TX Foundation Repair is a referral website for homeowners in Lubbock, TX, and the surrounding parts of Lubbock and Hockley Counties. Some concerns belong with us and some belong with the repair company, and this page sorts out which is which.

Concerns about our website. Maybe a page looks wrong, confusing or unfair, or we handled your request poorly. Send a note from the contact page and start it with "website question". Say what happened and roughly when. We read every complaint and follow up on it.

Problems with the repair company. Whoever received your request stands on its own as a business. It is not on our payroll, and its workers and prices are its own to manage. Start with that company if your issue involves an estimate, the repair itself, the warranty or how someone on the job acted. Write down the issue with dates and photos, and hold on to copies of the estimate, the contract and every receipt.

If the company does not resolve it. Texas law forbids false, misleading or deceptive acts in business. You can file a consumer complaint about a contractor with the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division on its website. Complaints about a professional engineer go to the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. For homes inside city limits, the City of Lubbock's Building Safety department can explain how its permits work. Texas also sets written notice steps before a construction defect lawsuit, and an attorney you hire can explain them.

Tell us as well. Please let us know about a company complaint even when it is not ours to fix. A pattern of problems affects whether we keep sending requests to that company.

Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under Texas law. Texas law governs this policy.
